Kingsbarn Riding Club
is based at Kingsbarn every 2nd Friday evening 7
till 9pm. It is a small friendly club which gives
like minded people a chance to get together for a
social evening on horse back. Each evening has a
theme with regular casual competitions giving
chances to win much sought after rosettes!
The club is open to
anyone 18 or over who is able to trot unaided.
Bring along your own horse or if you do not have
your own horse then just book a Kingsbarn mount for
the session.
All evenings and
tasks are adapted to suit each riders capabilities
and confidence ie if not up to jumping then poles on
the ground can easily be substituted OR if your keen
to do a bit more then some of our resident
showjumpers will be happy to oblige.
Kingsbarn Riding
Club is currently growing in popularity and is
looking into ways to expand. Next year it hopes to
become affiliated to the BHS’s British Riding
Clubs. As well as the regular Friday evenings the
club also organises trips to events such as Blair
Horse Trials in August.
