Kingsbarn is a BHS Approved Riding Centre and all our coaches
are BHS trained and qualified. Our horses,
ponies, instructors and facilities aim to suit
the needs of every rider - from beginners to
competition riders with their own horse.
We teach children from the age of 5. There is no
upper age limit. We do however have an upper
weight limit of 16st. |

All beginner riders
start their riding with half-hour private lessons
while they get to grips with the basics and build
riding confidence. Once riding independently off
the lead rein (usually after 4-6 half-hour lessons)
your coach will recommend a suitable group to join. |

Adults and
children who can already ride can start at Kingsbarn
with a half hour one-to-one assessment lesson. From
the lesson your coach will recommend the level of
group lesson most suitable for you or if you need a
few more one-to-ones before joining a group. If you
prefer, you can opt to continue with private
lessons.
Bookings may be made
in person, by telephone or via email. We are open
every day between 9.00am & 9.00pm. We will take your
height, weight, experience and contact details and
require payment at the time of booking.
